WEDDING RING WORKSHOPS
£300 PER COUPLE (+METAL)
Ever dreamed about making your own wedding rings, but didn’t know where to start? A Roderick Vere Wedding Ring Workshop is the perfect hands-on experience for couples wanting to design and create their very own bespoke wedding rings. Not only will you walk away with a pair of rings that you made from scratch, but you’ll create memories that will last a lifetime.
We start all of our wedding ring workshops a month or two beforehand with an an informal discussion about the types of rings you’ll be able to achieve, the styles you like (and those you don’t) as well as what to expect from the actual workshop. We’ll show you some samples, measure your ring finger and follow up with a couple of quotes based upon your metal and style choices.
As for the day of the workshop, we begin your three-hour session with a tea or coffee and a health & safety briefing before getting started on a sterling silver practice ring to build your confidence. Once everyone’s happy with how things are going, we’ll move on to the gold. Whatever your competency level, you’ll be led step-by-step through the process by an expert jeweller who’ll be on hand at all times to make sure things are running smoothly. Once you’ve completed your rings we’ll celebrate with a glass of bubbly!
At the end of your workshop your rings will be sent off for assay and hallmarking before being returned to you in a stylish double ring box.

PRICING
Our wedding ring workshops are priced at £300 per couple + metals. The adjacent chart shows estimated ‘all in’ prices based upon average finger sizes*. We predominantly work with recycled 9ct and 18ct yellow, red and white golds, but can also work with other metals, if requested.

WORKSHOP TASTERS
‘MAKE A SILVER RING’
£60 PER PERSON / regular DATEs / somerset
In these unique two-and-a-half-hour taster workshops held at Frome’s iconic Silk Mill Studios, you will be taught how to cut, shape and finish your own sterling silver ring. This workshop is a perfect introduction for anyone keen to try jewellery making using traditional silversmithing methods. Amongst other techniques, you will learn:
• How to thread and use a piercing saw to cut metal
• How to use a jewellers bench peg
• How to size a ring correctly
• How to anneal and pickle metal
• How to solder a ring
• How to finish your ring ready for wear
At the end of the session you will have a completely unique piece of silver jewellery made entirely by you. All tools and materials provided.
Spaces are limited to a maximum of four people so book early to avoid disappointment. Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email. PRIVATE WORKSHOPS
‘MAKE A SILVER RING, PENDANT OR STUDS’

Whether you're organising a hen party or are looking for something new to try, our private workshops are designed to fit around your schedule. We provide a mobile workshop experience where we come to your home or place of work and teach you (and up to seven friends) how to cut, shape, solder and finish your own piece of silver jewellery. Much like our ‘Make a Silver Ring’ Taster Workshops, they are perfect for those wanting an introduction to jewellery making or for anyone who fancies an alternative and fun activity!
